Jesus told us who He is in the "I AM" statements below
- I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger. — John 6:35
- I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. — John 8:12
- I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. — John 10:9
- I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. — John 10:11
- I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me, will live even though he dies.
- I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. — John 14:6
Lastly and most importantly,
- Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM." — John 8:58
This means that He is infinitely able to save all who will come to Him in faith.
That is, those who repent (turn away from their sins) and trust in Him for eternal life.
Now that you know who Jesus is, what will you do?
