What did Jesus say about Himself?
  • The Words of Jesus
  • Receiving Eternal Life
  • What if You Reject Eternal Life?

Jesus told us who He is in the "I AM" statements below

  • I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger.  — John 6:35
  • I am the light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. — John 8:12
  • I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.  — John 10:9
  • I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.  — John 10:11
  • I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me, will live even though he dies.
       — John 11:25
  • I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. — John 14:6
For eternal life, you must come through Jesus — there is no other way!

                                                   Lastly and most importantly,
  •   Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM." — John 8:58
Jesus is here declaring His deity. He is saying unmistakably that He is God in human flesh.
This means that He is infinitely able to save all who will come to Him in faith.

That is, those who repent (turn away from their sins) and trust in Him for eternal life.

Now that you know who Jesus is, what will you do?
